Sundet Log Cabin

  • Maren & Jokum Sundet built it in 1872 for their family of six.

  • Measure the tiny bed, and see the wooden trunks for clothing.

  • Check the upstairs "loft," but watch your step.  See pictures on wall.

  • Mud and moss filled space between logs, but now it's modern "stuff."

  • Admire how logs fit at corners.  How did Jokum lift the logs in place?
